Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets, skin on
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp mirin
  • 2 tbsp sake
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 spring onions, sliced

Instructions

    Mix soy sauce, mirin, sake, sugar and ginger in a small bowl.

    Pat salmon dry and season lightly with salt.

    Heat oil in a non-stick pan and sear salmon skin-side down for 4 minutes.
