Ingredients

  • 200g dark chocolate (70%), chopped
  • 180g butter
  • 250g sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 100g plain flour
  • 30g cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 100g chocolate chips

    Heat oven to 180°C and line a 23 cm square tin with parchment.

    Melt chocolate and butter together over a bain-marie until smooth.

    Whisk in sugar, then beat in eggs one at a time, add vanilla.

    Sift in flour, cocoa and salt, fold gently with a spatula.

    Stir in chocolate chips.
