Ingredients

  • 1 package lasagna pasta sheets
  • 1 liter Bolognese sauce
  • 2 cups béchamel sauce
  • 200g Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 200g dry mozzarella cheese
  • 100g Emmental cheese, grated (optional)
  • Butter for greasing

Instructions

    Prepare Bolognese sauce if making from scratch

    Prepare béchamel sauce when Bolognese is almost done

  3. 3

    If desired, mix grated Emmental into the béchamel

    Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions if required

    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)

    Spread a thin layer of Bolognese on the bottom of a greased baking dish

    Layer lasagna sheets, then béchamel, then more sheets, then Bolognese

    Repeat layers until dish is nearly full, ending with béchamel on top

    Top with grated Parmesan and mozzarella, then cover with aluminum foil

    Bake in center of oven
