Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas (4-5 bananas)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup crushed walnuts

    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)

    Mix the wet ingredients (eggs, mashed bananas, butter, sugar) in a large bowl

    In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, spices, and salt

    Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet, mixing until just combined

    Fold in the crushed walnuts

    Pour batter into a lightly buttered loaf pan
